So there are all these numbers floating around about low iOS 26 adoption… I’d love to see ones for macOS 26. That’s the one with incredibly awful word-of-mouth, and in my circles anecdotally *everyone* is in a holding pattern and skipping the update.

They made it impossible for an unattended OBS to record the screen without a human clicking on an ARE YOU SURE??? dialog box every <12 hours.
Also an unattended machine with screen locking turned off will nevertheless lock the screen *and unmount all external drives* every <12 hours and there's no way to stop it.
It's for your own good, you see. Won't someone think of the children?
