expected to regret ordering a "no power" m1 macbook air on ebay but works after removing a single shorted capacitor in keyboard backlight circuit?? not even activation locked??? i now have a working arm mac?????
a downside to this laptop that i didn't anticipate is that it's just always cold to the touch. it's unpleasant
can't even compete with the 11" for daily use, but happy to have a machine that runs macos 26 without patches (and will run 27 in june at all)
