also completely ruins one-off contact changes to make like "dumbass" or "satisfactory small woman" or whatever show in blue for the recipient..
one of the silliest macos behaviors is whenever i edit the contact for someone i talk with a lot on imessage, it freezes the app with 100% cpu for like minutes?
like is it updating every message with their new details or something?? is there not just a global contact field for the whole chat???

they're mainly an ad company and have had enormous user bases on facebook, instagram, whatsapp, etc., since years before the current AI hype
