is there a sane way to set an "accent color" on macos 26 but keep the classic light-blue folders?

ive been doing this, which works but feels very dumb..

@9to5Mac swapping all the keycaps individually is terrible advice, it will take hours and you're pretty much guaranteed to break a couple of the scissors

@xgranade i think my apple account has a similar name issue (but mum's name rather than deadname.. lol she made it for me when i was a child). it shows the one i set in some spots and the original in others, really weird

@hikari does it even have the various characters' or evas' themes? i vaguely remember being disappointed that it didn't, but haven't seen the remakes in years

long-term im nervous this'll get disappointingly short macos support due to the 8 gb, but i doubt it will *feel* slow since the m1 still (usually) doesn't. maybe they'll put a19 pro with 12 gb next year.
